How does the wet granulation machine work?

• The preparation

You need ferment, crush and mix the organic materials before granulation. The inorganic materials only need to be milled and mixed to powders. • Wetting process

Add correct portion of binder to help the agglomeration, you can also call this procedure wetting. You can spray the binder solution into the machine, or add the fluid as foam. Aqueous solutions are cheap and safe, but take longer time to dry out. Organic solvents are volatile, they are suitable for moisture sensitive materials. • The granulation

After the raw materials are wet and some chemistries have taken place, the powders begin to roll with the machine. Under the combined effects of centrifugal force and compaction between the particles, the materials will gradually form into pellets we want.

• Drying process

The pellet products still have much water content after the granulation. In order to make them easy to carry or store, you need to dry them up . At this time, you will need Shunxin rotary drum dryer to do the job fast. It will dry the pellets uniformly.

• Cooling process

What are wet granulation advantages and disadvantages?

As a mature technique, wet granulation machine is suitable for most material granulations. The products are of good flowability and density.
